Any motivational thoughts are much appreciated!

Hawaiian Adventure

3 and a 1/2 years ago we went on a honeymoon adventure to Hawaii! Well, upon graduating, Whit's buddy offered him a job for 3 months in....HAWAII! Yup this is for reals! Whit left 2 days after we graduated, and I will be joining him in a week and a half! The reason for the delay is pricing in tickets and the men needed to get out there quick to start! We are SO excited to LIVE in the great HAWAII! And are kind of hoping we stay..JUST KIDDING! We'd miss all ya'll! But, we are so excited to go back and re-live some of our fun adventures we had on our honeymoon! Even though I'm pregnant we are still going to have a BLAST and do so many fun things! Hawaii HERE WE COME!!!!!!!

We is Graduamated!

Well, we did it!! We are GRADUATES! Whit graduated in Humanities with Pre-Law emphasis and I graduated in Accounting! We are SO happy and relieved that we FINALLY made it! This was such a huge accomplishment and we couldn't be more happy! It was definitely a struggle at times, but we pushed through it and with each others help we were able to finish nice and strong!

Charlotte and I! I LOVE this woman! And I'm going to miss her like CRAZY!

Moving

Since I work in Utah on weekends I have been packing the car sky high with boxes and the last trip home before we actually moved home I took our sweet kitty Chowder....he managed to find a spot right on top (don't ask me how that was the most comfortable spot) but I took a picture of him of what I saw in my rear view mirror the entire drive home!

Hair cut

I was feeling pretty ugly when I was about 14 weeks and so I decided to do something new....and so I chopped my hair! It was sad, yes, BUT my hair has been growing SUPER fast with the whole prenatal vitamins and all that I figure it will be back before I know it!

10 weeks

Here's me at 10 weeks, I know can't even see ANY bump but man did I FEEL like there was a bump! :)

Present/Gift

For Christmas I got the BEST present EVER! Whit wanted me to have a car that has 4-wheel drive since I'm commuting to Utah every weekend for my job that I got from my internship! We sold the truck back in November and bought my sister in-law's car for the great gas mileage. Whit being the cute daddy-to-be thought I needed something a little more safe on these torturous roads in Idaho. And he bought me this as a present/graduation gift:

This isn't the real picture of our car I haven't taken one yet but it's AWESOME! It's got leather seats, tinted windows, stereo controls on the steering wheel(my fav), and much much more! I love love love it! I sure have a great husband that loves to spoil me and I'm soooo grateful for that! I've been feeling so crappy with my morning sickness that having this car brightens my day all the time! :) And best part is with the car seat, and me being tall, I don't have to bend down to pick them up! I'm VERY grateful for that too!

Kaleia's Blanket

So, a few posts back I posted my sweet kitty being my sewing helper while I was sewing my first quilt. Well here's the outcome! It's for my little niece!! You can't see it, but I sewed around some of the flowers in the middle! This picture looks like there is diagonal lines, but I promise there isn't! Just little flowers sewn all throughout!

Weekend get-a-way

We went to the knoll's just me and Whit for a little weekend get-a-way! It was hot...sweaty....and SO fun!

Here's us on top of a ledge! We took a picture up there when we were dating and thought we'd do a little remembrance photo! Who knew we'd be married now, finishing our bachelor's, having a little one on the way...and loving life?

Almost found this little friend inside my riding boot!! yes, it's a scorpion and do you notice how its almost CLEAR? Yeah totally didn't see it until I almost touched it...Good thing it was dead.

This is for our old neighbors...we found this in the middle of this flat area someone named it Chizum which is the name of their cat!

Oh us being us!

This was a sweet trail! It's down in the valley there you can't really see it but it was all twisty and turny and I felt like I was on a race track! It was So intense and SO fun!

This is our yummy Cobbler that we made! I think its the best one we've ever done! Go figure! ;)

Crazy hair!

Oh isn't he sexy!

I went up that hill that's behind me going from left to right it was pretty steep but I just kept going! It was fun!

Here's Whit on the ledge and to the right is our truck and camper!

Whit's Crash...

Back in September one Saturday night, I was doing homework, cleaning the house, while my dear sweet husband decided him and our neighbor were going to go ride their motorcycles. I thought it would be good for just those two to go since I tend to hold them back from going really fast. Well...they left early afternoon and about sundown Whit comes running in saying, "Kristi we need to go to the hospital" Worried I looked up to see my husbands face like this:

I immediately jumped up grabbed the keys and off we went. I don't even think I brought my wallet I was so nervous! I thought for sure he broke his jaw (yes the jaw he had jaw surgery on a year and a half ago). They immediately admitted him and started cleaning his face off. What had happened was he was going around a corner gave his bike some gas (that's what you do when you go around corners so you don't fall over) and he didn't see the next corner that was right ahead. He had given too much gas and over the ledge he went and smacked right into a huge tree. He said he blacked out for a few seconds and when he came too he was under his bike but in the back so he thinks he flipped off and landed underneath the bike. I think his helmet saved his life because it was pretty banged up. He bent his handle bars on his bike and had a few scratches here and there, but is lucky to only have those few things happen. We went home with 2 stitches.

This is his side. It looked like someone came and scraped a chunk of skin off with a knife....pretty nasty.

And here's where he had to get stitches. I'm just thankful my husband is still alive because I would be devastated if I ever lost him!! Thank goodness he's stuck with me for eternity but still I would be very sad.

Niece & Nephew

Sweet baby Holden! I got to babysit him for a little bit, and I got out my phone to take a picture and said Holden smile and he took his giraffe out of his mouth and posed for me! Priceless...

Sweet baby Kaleia!! Loooovveee her!

Ride's to Utah

Driving to Utah from Rexburg is a good 3 hours. It gets tiresome...and I just wanted to show how funny our little family is and how we sleep on the way...

Me and Chowder

Whit and Chowder

Are we cute or what?

Sewing partner

So for those that don't know, our cat thinks he's our "watch" dog. One day I was sewing a quilt for my sister and I look over and see this cute face staring at me for HOURS:

Here's me sewing along...

I made my own duvet cover and pillows. Me and Whit couldn't agree on fabric, so he picked the tan and I picked the blue/brown to match.

Close-up of my buttons (p.s. I love sewing buttons its my FAVORITE)

Hair Cut

I cut my hair it was to my lower back, but I cut it to just below my shoulders! (I cut it because it was so long and heavy it was giving me headaches)

Whit's Birthday

Whit's Birthday was on 11/21 and since we couldn't go home and celebrate we celebrated here! I tried to make his day SO special! I woke up and made him pancakes that show how old he is!

I then threw him a surprise birthday party with some of our friends up here! He was SO happy/embarrassed!

The awesome baseball carrot cake I made! We didn't have a 2 candle so I just used 2 stick candles!

Reese's Peanut Butter Bars

So one day we were REALLY bored (I know hard to do in Rexburg) and we decided to go walk around K-Mart (the only store in Rexburg). We were having fun looking at all of the Christmas stuff, and candy, and lo and behold we saw the mother load......

Small Peanut butter cup versus our Mother Load Peanut Butter Cup

Carefully taking it out of the package...

Whit holding it so you can see the size.....It took 3 days to eat the 2 Mother Load Peanut Butter Cups! And yes, it was YUMMY!

Yummy Treats

My friend made this yummy ice cream cake for her birthday back in October, so we decided to try it out. If you didn't notice, it's Winger's asphalt pie! YUMMY! Scrumptious! And SO many calories, but lets face it we're A-Okay with that!

Projects

So, I have been SO addicted to pinterest lately! It has been INSANE! But, OH HOW I LOVE IT! I have started to see my creativity come into play and its been SO fun!

My sister Tiffany had a baby girl in December and so I made this little skirt and headband! The bear was my model!

Here's a close-up of the skirt!

Close-up of the headband!

Pinterest is my new best friend, and they had these cute flowers that you make out of yarn! So I made this vase for my aunt and made the flowers and put real tree sticks on the end!

The new trend is burlap, and I saw this lamp on pinterest that had burlap for the shade, so I re-did my lamp! I just need to repaint it and I'm going to do it an antique black!
