HELICOPTER TIME

So after our pit manuevers they took us on a helicopter ride! It was AMAZING! Our first time on a helicopter and it couldn't have been better! Our pilot was the man who picked up that one hiker that got his hand stuck under that rock and had to cut it off a couple years ago if you can remember, cool huh? I asked the pilot if he was going to show us any cool moves and he said no, but then did the whole circle thing where they find the suspect and do circles around him so they can keep an eye out for him! It was kind of scary because the doors were open to the helicopter the entire time! Then on the way back he decided to be way funny and turned the helicopter completely side ways! So you'll notice the picture with Whit where we're looking at the ground......yeah we were looking straight down at the ground! It was AWESOME! We had soo much fun and are so glad that we have had this chance to learn so many great things with the UHP! I'm so glad that Derek hooked us up with this! It's been such a great experience and we have learned SOO much! I have a lot more respect for those officers now, even if some of them are kind of wronchy!
