CHRISTMAS TIME!

This is our cute tree!!!

This Christmas was by far the best one that we have ever had, mainly because we're married and have someone to spoil! It was so fun to be with both of our families and share the true meaning of Christmas, and remember the birth of our savior! On Christmas Eve we had a candle light dinner with Kristi's family, then went to Whit's grandma's house to play games! Then we went back to Kristi's parents to stay the night!

We woke up at 5:50 AM....yes that early, to open presents with the family! We were so excited because we got CAMPING GEAR! Luckily my parents got a big enough tent for Mr. Whit to stretch out in, and they got us a double sleeping bag so Whit can keep me warm! (Whit thought that it was just for him though.....) I had Whit open my present to him at my parents house, because I was opening my present from him at his parents! Whit got a BBQ Grill! I got him that because everytime we make hamburgers inside it gets kind of smokey.....and also cause he wanted one!! We also got some scentsy candles from Tiff, and a cute decorative M (for Miller) from Britt and Josh! And I can't forget what Justin got us....an AWESOME cassette tape that we can listen to in the car! What a cutie huh?

So after Kristi's parents house we went to Whit's parents house! So Whit being the clever one that he is, made everyone go in the front room by the tree, and I had to come in last to see my present and lo and behold this is what he got me.........

YES THAT IS A PIANO!!! OH MAN I WAS SOOOO SURPRISED! And yes I did cry...haha I was soo happy! I have my VERY own now! So exciting! I played it all day on Christmas, then we moved it to our apartment later that night so now I can play it anytime I want!!!!! Whit got a funny thing from Derek and Julie....it's a big HULK poster so when you plug it in there is fog in the backround! We also got some games, taboo from Heidi, and a Scriptures game from Whit's parents! We also got a new laundry basket...cause ours was really small for 2 people! And we can't forget the candy! That is all that Amelia and Hallie talked about....we would ask them what they got from Santa and they said, "CANDY!" Oh kids are so cute!!!

Christmas was so fun this year, I loved seeing the traditions that both sides of our families have, and remembering the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and everything that he has done for us! And most of all I loved being with my amazing husband! I couldn't ask for a better man to be with! I'm so grateful for everything that he has done and continues to do for me everyday! I love you Whit!

So since me and Whit got presents for each other, we decided that we needed a present as a family! Guess we were a really good family this year, cause this is what Santa brought us............

Now we can't complain about not being able to "see" the t.v. anymore! haha THANKS SANTA!
